From midday setup to the last call at midnight, our resort is yours alone. Six ceremony settings to choose from. A complimentary Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge for getting ready. Live music until 11pm, event closes at midnight. For couples who live nearby or are staying at hotels in Xpu-Ha, Akumal, Tulum or Playa del Carmen.

Six ceremony settings
Exchange vows in the underground cenote, the Balinese pavilion over the koi water feature, the quaint chapel, the palapa by the pool, the formal lawns or the sunken garden bar. You choose.

Midday to midnight
Vendors and bridal party arrive at 11:30am. Ceremony in the afternoon, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing. Live music ends at 11pm to respect the jungle, the event closes at midnight.

Bridal Suite & Groom's Lounge
Both spaces complimentary on the day for hair, makeup and getting ready. Access from noon.

Up to 150 guests
Large resorts in Xpu-Ha and Akumal sit 10 minutes away. Playa del Carmen and Tulum 25 minutes. Return shuttles arranged by your planner with hotels you've selected.

The full property, the team, the lighting
Exclusive use of the property, every garden, every event space, the fire pit, the Balinese yoga shala and palapa (250m²), the chapel. Two bathroom blocks with six w/c, cleaned and restocked through the day. All existing garden furniture (bar stools, sofas, dining sets). Ten boxes of pre-set string lighting in the gardens. A minimum of four resident staff supporting your planner and vendors, led by a property manager with an event-production background.

Bring the photographer, the DJ, the florist
All weddings at Onze work with an external planner of your choosing. We don't impose a mandatory vendor list, you bring your own photographer, DJ, florist and planner at no commission. Onze food and beverage is available as a paid add-on for groups of 50 or under (above 50, your planner sources external catering). Bar service is also available on request.

The Signature Day Rental runs from 11:30am to midnight. Bend the rhythm to your culture and traditions, the structure below is a typical Onze wedding day.

Vendors arrive
Vendors and the bridal party check in. Setup begins across the gardens, the lawns, the chapel or the cenote depending on your ceremony setting.
12:00
Bridal Suite & Groom's Lounge open
Hair, makeup and getting ready in the dedicated Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge. Both come complimentary with the day rental.
16:00
Ceremony
Guests arrive. The ceremony begins in your chosen setting, underground cenote, Balinese pavilion, chapel, lawns, palapa or sunken garden bar. Photography, signing, first kiss.
17:30
Cocktail hour
Drinks at the sunken garden bar or by the koi pavilion. Light bites. Live acoustic or DJ set. Golden hour through the canopy.
19:30
Dinner
Long tables under papel picado, candlelit dinner in the cenote, or seated reception in the palapa. Speeches, first dance, cake.
21:00 to 00:00
Dancing and last call
Live and amplified music until 11pm to respect the jungle. The event closes at midnight, non-staying guests depart by 12:30am. All vendors removed by 2am.

Enquire
Dates, guest count, your vision. We reply within 24 hours with availability and rental pricing.

Tour
Venue tour or virtual walkthrough with you and your wedding planner once they're appointed. Choose your ceremony setting on the property.

Confirm
Contract, deposit, security deposit. Your planner takes over agenda, vendors and the day-of flow. Our property manager is your team's point of contact on-site.

Welcome
Vendors and bridal party check in from 11:30am. Our resident team supports your planner through setup, ceremony, dinner and last call.

One-day wedding questions
What does the Signature Day Rental include?
Exclusive use of the property and all event spaces (cenote, Balinese pavilion, chapel, lawns, palapa and pool, sunken garden bar, yoga shala 250m², fire pit), the complimentary Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge for getting ready, two bathroom blocks with cleaning and restock, all garden furniture, 10 boxes of string lighting, a minimum of 4 resident staff and a property manager with an event-production background to support your team.
What's not included?
Wedding planning and organising (Onze is not a wedding planner, all events work with your appointed planner), catering for groups over 50 guests (above 50, your planner sources external catering), staff gratuity, and the refundable security deposit ($2,000 USD). Onze food and beverage for groups of 50 or under, and bar service, can be added as paid options.
What are the day hours?
Vendors and the bridal party check in from 11:30am. The Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge open at noon. Live and amplified music ends at 11pm to respect the jungle. The event closes at midnight, non-staying guests depart by 12:30am, and all vendors must be off the property by 2am.
Do we need a wedding planner?
Yes, an external one of your choosing. Onze is the venue, property management and on-the-day hosting — we do not plan or organise weddings ourselves. Your planner runs the agenda, coordinates your vendors and runs the day-of flow. Our property manager (event-production background) serves as point of contact for your planner on-site.
Can we bring our own photographer, DJ and florist?
Yes. External vendors welcome at no commission and no markup. We don't impose a mandatory vendor list, your wedding should look like you, not every other event.
How many guests can attend?
Up to 150 guests for the ceremony and reception. The Signature Day Rental is positioned for couples staying nearby, the property is not used for sleeping during a Day Rental. For couples who want to host their inner circle on-site across multiple nights, see our Wedding Weekend option.
Where do our guests stay?
Large resorts in Xpu-Ha and Akumal are 10 minutes away. Boutique hotels in Playa del Carmen and Tulum sit 25 minutes either side. Your planner arranges block rates and the return shuttles for the day.
Are there things we can't bring?
No glitter or confetti (indoor or outdoor). No sparklers, fireworks, tiki torches or fire breathers for health-and-safety reasons. Candles are permitted with prior approval. We can suggest alternatives that fit the property.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a refundable security deposit of $2,000 USD ($40,000 MXN) is held against any damage. Returned in full when the property is handed back in the condition received.
Is the ceremony legally binding in Mexico?
Most international couples choose a symbolic ceremony at Onze and complete the civil marriage at home, simpler logistically. A legal Mexican civil ceremony can be arranged through your wedding planner, the requirements include a blood test, official translator, and two witnesses with valid passports.
What if it rains on the day?
Every space has a covered backup. The chapel seats up to 60. The palapa offers 250m² of covered reception space. The cenote, Balinese pavilion and garden bar all have partial cover. No outdoor element of the day is left without a rain plan.
How far in advance should we book?
9 to 14 months is typical for the peak dry season (November to April). We can occasionally accommodate 6-month windows in shoulder months. Send your dates early, we hold one wedding per day.
Can we use or swim in the cenote during our event?
Yes. Guests are welcome to enjoy the cenote, as long as the property rules and designated hours are respected.
