Onze Xpuha is a family-owned resort, born entirely out of passion. As owners, we are deeply involved in the day-to-day operations, having poured an immense amount of love and intention into every square inch of this project. We mindfully run this property to feel less like a commercial venue and more like a private, lovingly cared-for estate created exclusively for you.
Working alongside us, our local team lives directly on-site and forms the passionate heart of the property. Because they are part of our family, they ensure your group is completely safe, endlessly looked after and deeply thought about before you even realize you need a thing.
We firmly believe that service is black and white; it is simply fulfilling a task. Hospitality is splashes of color. It is found in the little details, the thoughtful gestures and the unanticipated moments that make you feel genuinely cared for. Ohhh, Onze! I am overflowing with gratitude for this remarkable place and the brilliant, devoted, amazing people who run it. I just hosted a 4-day women's retreat at Onze Xphua, my 33rd retreat. I've facilitated retreats all over the world, and nothing compares to Onze. The sanctuary itself is ripe with sensual detail and elegant luxury; the opposite of ostentatious, every aspect of Onze speaks of soul, story, and artistry. The setting, the Mayan jungle, thrums with life so lush you can't help but surrender and soften while there. The property is both expansive (a private underground cenote, beautiful pool, spacious common areas, temescal, chapel, yoga shala, and several unique and enchanting rooms) AND intimate; even cozy. But behind the gorgeousness of this sanctuary are the humans who tend it and, in turn, tended us with heartfelt generosity, professionalism, excitement, and love. Billy, Leon, Chef Louis and Oscar, Vanessa, and their crew went above and beyond at every stage of planning and execution. I put a lot of energy into creating ceremony, holding space, and implementing balanced flow, and they made this not only easy for me but helped me visualize and plan from afar. Every detail, and then some, was attended, even a beautiful birthday cake for one of my guests! Onze attracts true healers and medicine-keepers. I highly recommend their experiences, such as a temezcal (one of the best I've experienced), Leon's Rebirthing Breathwork Journey (my guests had profound releases during this journey), and Rene's Sound Healing concert in the cenote. Even the massages were extraordinary. Within a week of leaving I booked Onze again for next year. Part of me doesn't want to post this review because I want to keep Onze hidden, it's so special! But of course, that's why it must be shared. If you're considering this magical space, don't hesitate. You'll love it!
Retreat host
We booked this incredible stay for Christmas holidays. Although the property appears to be for adults seeking a peaceful sanctuary (which it absolutely can be) it was extremely kid friendly! We were 10 adults and 9 kids ages 2-10. They curated a magical experience which included a Christmas show for the kids, a cenote guitar concert, Christmas cookie decorating, arts and crafts, and a piñata! For the adults we had workout classes, massages and peace of mind that the kids were so happy. The property is impeccable. There were pool toys for the kids and an obstacle course. The owner went above and beyond entertaining the kids while the adults had a workout. The food was such a highlight as well! The chef was able to accommodate all of our family's dietary restrictions and make separate meals for the kids. The food was fresh and delicious! The rooms were so beautifully appointed. It was an organic natural aesthetic that really made you feel a part of the surroundings. This family vacation is going to be hard to ever replicate or experience again! You will not regret this once in a lifetime experience!!

Omgoodness what a wonderful sweet spot! We attended our youngest daughters 4 day wedding event. What a blast, what a wonderful place to host a wedding and the staff was phenomenal along with the FOOD was so very delicious! I wanted to pack up the staff and bring them home with me because they were so amazing in service and with all meals prepared! Billy the owner could not have been more hands on, or available and so genuinely caring and accommodating. I can not attest to the rooms onsite because we were 2 mins away due to numbers onsite but Billy welcomed us with open arms for lunches/dinners with pre-wedding planning of course. I highly recommend for a destination wedding. Oh did I mention the Cenote onsite!
