Youth Ministry Lead

As the Campus Youth Lead, your role involves creating environments, organizing events, and facilitating experiences that foster connections among students, leaders, and others.

Some Key Responsibilities:

Support and care for youth leadership team

• Identify and recruit high-capacity leaders.
• Equip, train, and empower leaders to own a role.
• Continually encourage, motivate, and care for leaders.

Execute midweek experiences

• Intentionally create an environment and experience that is focused on memorable, and programmed to be the best two hours of a student's week.
• Welcome new students and follow up effectively later in the week.
• Ensure the right students get in the right groups, led by the right leader.

Serve alongside campus staff on the weekends

• Collaborate with campus staff to connect with students and parents on the weekends.
• Support other ministry areas by recruiting students for their ministry.
• Direct students to next steps, including groups on Wednesday nights, serving on the weekends, and attending outreach events.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Knowledgeable in student ministry and loves teenagers.
• Experienced in developing and motivating adults and students to become leaders.
• Awesome at communicating and relating to others, especially teens and their parents.
• Skilled at recruiting, training, and leading adult volunteers and student leaders.
• Organized and can oversee/manage multiple technical components at the same time.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to see the big picture.
• Willing to take initiative and get things done.
• A team player who collaborates with all ministries during weekend experiences.
• Able to effectively engage in spiritual conversations with parents and youth.

You're Our Ideal Candidate If:

• Can text 50 words a minute and enjoys spending time each day on social media connecting with students.
• Can name the current top five most popular songs, movies, and television shows
• Make us laugh.
• Have the ability to inspire people and keep a group motivated.
• Desire to excel in a multi-site, centrally driven youth ministry model.

Compensation Information:

• Pay Range: $17-$22 per hour.
• We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
