Description:

The Tasting Room at Maine Beer Company is looking for someone who loves craft beer and values a positive work environment. This individual must exhibit excellent customer service and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere while working hard to achieve daily tasks. Qualified individuals should embrace hospitality and will be expected to work weekends and closing shifts. Experience in the craft beer industry and/or restaurant experience is strongly encouraged.   • Keep bar in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a friendly and enthusiastic attitude while providing a welcoming environment to patrons and coworkers
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must communicate well with peers, customers, and supervisors
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate efficiency while learning new tasks and skills
  • Stock cooler with bottled beers consistently throughout the day
  • Clean Tasting Room thoroughly as needed throughout the day (floors, tables, windows, fixtures, coolers, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms throughout the day
  • Assist with Tasting Room events
  • Draft line cleaning and equipment cleaning experience is a plus but will be taught to hired employees

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift a 5 gallon keg (65 pounds)
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Must be able to collaborate and problem-solve with others
  • Strong verbal communication skills to interact with peers, supervisors and customers
