As part of Capital Ones Enterprise AI and Machine Learning Product organization, you will contribute directly to shaping the platforms and tools that thousands of engineers, data scientists and analysts across the business apply to making decisions, managing risk, detecting fraud, and delivering intelligent and personalized customer experiences.

About the Role

The senior product manager will be accountable for the orchestration engine of EMP Training. Hundreds of users rely on EMP Pipelines, powered by Kubeflow Pipelines, to train and tune ML models. These models power some of Capital Ones most critical businesses from fraud detection to credit risk to financial loss forecasting. This product leader will be the primary advocate for these users, transforming user feedback and market opportunities into a clear product roadmap that drives efficiency and innovation. The role of Pipelines is growing rapidly, extending to support model development with highly sensitive human data and internally developed large language models. This role requires a dynamic leader who can navigate the complexities of enterprise platforms and demanding customers to carve out a roadmap that drives Capital Ones business through cuttingedge AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the user: serve as the voice of the user to turn pain points into meaningful UX improvements. Manage a user communication strategy derived from ongoing surveys and feedback gathering. Fully own the user journey from onboarding to progression.
• Drive platform excellence: enhance platform efficiency and performance by creating robust user analytics dashboards, managing intake requests, and partnering with tech teams on compliance and modernization efforts.
• Strategic execution: work across the platform with product and tech leadership to shape a roadmap that centers the user experience, promotes a wellgoverned platform, integrates with the converging ecosystem of products, all while pushing the envelope on new AIdriven capabilities.

You stay current with the latest tools and trends in data, machine learning, and AI, and you are a vocal supporter of highquality work. Your knowledge and drive will be key to pushing our technology forward and creating better, datadriven experiences at Capital One.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management.
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field).
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading product management for enterprise platforms, MLOps, data science, or internal developer tools.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Industry recognized professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, SAFe Product Management, AWS Security, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect).
• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumerfacing digital products.

Compensation

Salary ranges: Cambridge, MA: $193,000 - $220,300; Chicago, IL: $175,500 - $200,300; McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300; NewYork, NY: $210,500 - $240,300; Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300; SanFrancisco, CA: $210,500 - $240,300. The role is eligible for performancebased incentive compensation.
