Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse Med/Surg Per Diem
- Location: Evanston, Hospital Primary, Skokie (secondary and subject to change)
- Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours: evening shift; (1500-2330) weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
- Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3 : 111-144 hrs. / per 6-week schedule
- Required Travel: Evanston Primary site, Skokie (secondary site - subject to change)
What you will do: - Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients on med/surg units
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What you will need: - License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. Must maintain an active NIHSS certification
- Experience: A minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in med/surg required. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Medical Surgical Experience
