Job Description

RDKB Developer Must Have Experience 8-12 years' experience in developing broadband devices and related components. Experience with Linux, including configuring, customizing, and building Linux distributions, as RDK-B is built on Linux. Strong programming skills in C and C++, used in RDK-B development. Knowledge of the Yocto build system. Understanding of the Linux kernel, including kernel configuration, device drivers, and kernel modules. Experience in Linux system programming. Experience in defining Low-Level Design for broadband components. Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Scripting skills in shell languages such as Python, TCL, or Bash. Familiarity with web-based user interfaces and web server technologies. Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques. Experience in building DevOps pipelines and automation. Preferred Skills Active participation in the RDK-B community and understanding of its development processes. Knowledge of wireless technologies, especially Wi-Fi. Familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs. Awareness of security best practices, including encryption and authentication. Understanding of wireless interface configuration in RDK-B. Soft Skills Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented. Ability to create feasible solutions aligned with customer requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
