Pipe Welder Pay Rate and Hours:

• $22-26 depending on Experience
• Monday- Friday, 6 am- 2:30 pm

Pipe Welder Job Description:

• Most of the pipe is welded using Mig and Flux core, with occasional tig if qualified can weld the pipe using a pin wheel roll out machine, but there are some fixed positions required

Pipe Welder Skills:

• Standard pipe test requirements are a 2” Sch 160 pin wheel roll out test
• Open root with a Mig stringer, then Flux core fill and Cap
• Tig welders require a tig test in a 6G fixed position with an open root
