RMC is hiring a Physical Security Specialist to support our customer in Indian Head, MD.
The selected applicant will:
- Be responsible for physical security plans, procedures, and inspections.
- Perform various tasks associated with the physical security plan.
- Advise on physical security matters, interpret security policies and regulations, conduct investigations of physical security violations, and conduct and oversee physical security inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Conduct physical security inspections of primary areas, e.g., arms, ammunition, and explosives, and all other areas of the facility.
- Prepare physical security inspection reports, note deficiencies, and make recommendations.
- Review drawings and plans for new construction or modifications to existing structures for physical safeguards and adherence to security regulations.
Requirements An Associate's Degree with five (5) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma or GED equivalent with six (6) years of relevant experience in one or more of the standard U.S. Government security fields (e.g., technical, physical (to include locks and security containers), information, personnel, international, operational or signal security, communications security, counterintelligence, antiterrorism, counterterrorism, computer security, surveillance, counter surveillance or surveillance detection, infrastructure protection, force protection, technology protection, information operations, or industrial security programs) is required. Demonstrated experience with Navy security programs, regulations, and instructions is preferred.
The selected applicant must have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $50,000 to $60,000 annually. Resource Management Concepts, Inc.
