About the Role:
In this position, you'll play a vital part in day-to-day pharmacy operations. From processing and packaging prescriptions to managing insurance claims and inventory, youll work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process prescription orders and handle insurance adjudications
Package, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification
Manage daily inventory, restock medications, and track expirations
Perform data entry and manage prescription documentation
Support packing, shipping, returns, and quarantines
Cross-train in additional pharmacy support areas as needed
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
PTCB certification and active Florida pharmacy technician license
At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Call center or high-volume pharmacy experience is a plus
