Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining.
We're hiring for a Mechanical Pump Assembler for our Clackamas location - and we're looking for skilled hands and sharp minds to make an impact!
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, plus overtime opportunities . Bring your expertise, and we'll match it with competitive pay, a steady schedule, and a chance to be part of a team that builds excellence every day.
The hourly pay range is from $21.00 -$25.00 (DOE)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
You will use your expertise to meticulously assemble parts according to blueprints and work instructions. Your responsibilities will include fastening parts together, fitting components to precise tolerances, and conducting operating tests to ensure optimal performance. With proficiency in reading blueprints and operating various tools and equipment, your role is a crucial part of our production process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our final products.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Positions parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled, following blueprints and/or work instructions
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
Fits parts to very close tolerances and operating requirements involving filing, scraping of bearings, and flat surfaces
Presses shaft into parts, fits keys, aligns, and drills mating parts
Mounts and connects auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment, and cuts and fits pipe and tubing
Makes operating tests and final adjustments
Uses hand tools, air tools, hydra tools, and measuring devices
Able to read blueprints
Able to operate forklift and other lifting devices
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience (required)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
