Job Duties: Designing, developing, configuring, deploying, optimizing, documenting, and maintaining Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure Cloud services. Data storage and data processing workloads in a GCP/AWS/Azure based Cloud ecosystem including enhancements and optimization. Monitoring infrastructure services on Cloud leveraging logging and alerting. Python and Bash Scripting and Identity Access management (IAM) security for Cloud assets. Executing on-premises to cloud-based infrastructure migrations. Operationally supporting and optimizing GCP services to meet expected SLAs. Functioning as a Cloud engineering team member in an agile team environment, including supporting story creation and refinement, technical documentation, maintaining Jira and supporting scrum and status reporting in project meetings. Partnering with other technical leaders tactically to define and implement optimal Cloud infrastructure solutions, working through technical and project constraints considerations. Reviewing code solutions and providing peer feedback with focus on best practices.
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure; Developing and deploying Cloud infrastructure solutions in a data analytics ecosystem comprising ETL, BI, and Data governance platforms; Google Cloud services, namely, BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Build, Functions, Scheduler, PubSub; Developing and deploying Cloud Containerization technologies/services like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE); and Capacity management, autoscaling, and disaster recovery management of Cloud platforms or applications.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
