Job Description & RequirementsOne of our Partners, is seeking a locum tenens Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support its outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology program beginning March 9, 2026 , through September 9, 2026 . This is a part-time, scheduled outpatient role with no call responsibilities, ideal for an experienced oncology APP seeking predictable clinic work within a well-supported hospital system.
\n\nProvider Pay Ranking: Top 15% nationally for locum tenens Hematology/Oncology APP roles, based on 2025–2026 market data and comparable outpatient oncology APP locum assignments.
\n\n\n Assignment Highlights \n\nContract Length: 26 weeks
\n\t\n\tSchedule: Minimum 2 shifts per week , 3 shifts preferred
\n\t\n\tShift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8.5 hours)
\n\t\n\tSetting: Outpatient Hematology / Oncology clinic
\n\t\n\tPatients per Day: ~11–16
\n\t\n\tCall: None
\n\t\n\tOrientation: 4 hours (non-billable, facility policy)
\n\t\n\tEMR: EPIC
\n\t\n\tObserved holidays honored
\n\t\n\tPrepaid travel and lodging
\n\t\n\tMalpractice insurance provided
\n\t\n\tHPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
\n\t\nProvide outpatient hematology and medical oncology follow-up visits
\n\t\n\tConduct patient assessments, treatment monitoring, and care coordination
\n\t\n\tCollaborate with oncologists, nursing staff, and support teams
\n\t\n\tDocument encounters in EPIC
\n\t\n\tSupport continuity of care and clinic efficiency
\n\t\nCertified Physician Assistant (or Nurse Practitioner)
\n\t\n\tActive Minnesota license required
\n\t\n\tHematology/Oncology outpatient experience preferred
\n\t\n\tStrong clinical judgment and communication skills
\n\t\n\tComfortable working in a hospital-based specialty clinic
