Dyche - State Farm Agency, located in Ottawa , IL, is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative. As our Customer Service Representative, you'll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.
This is an in-office position working 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Please only apply if you can make the commute to our agency located at: 1104 Columbus Street, Ottawa, IL 61350. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and focus on client retention.

Requirements: - Illinois Property Casualty license
- Illinois Life and Health license (must have or be able to obtain)
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Competency and work ethic to sell and service all lines of insurance
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
