Job Description
Duties: The purpose of this position is to perform general duties related to the circulation of the library materials, attends circulation desk, greets, patrons, assists with requests; initiates exchange of informatoin required in lending of libary materials;l checks in and checks out library materials; performs a variety of general clerical and office duties; operates a computer; assists patrons to locate and operate various types of equipment such as copy machines, cmoputer, etc.
Qualifications: Education: High School graduation or equivalent. Experience: One (1) year of experience in general clerical and customer service duties. Preference will be given to applicants with at least six months experience in general library services.
Licenses/Certifications: No certifications required.
Schedule: Varies based on shift. Positions will be scheduled to work 15 to 20 hours per week. Library hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Seeking someone who can work M-TH in the evenings and on Saturdays.
