Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant caf environment. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing high-quality beverages and food items for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items with precision and care.
• Operate the Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork and communication.
• Uphold food preparation standards, ensuring all items are prepared according to established recipes and guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures within the food industry.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining individual accountability for tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 30 per week
