The Executive Protection Agent will provide welfare, physical protection, and security for a high-profile client. Responsibilities include: Representing Pinkerton’s core values Providing close protection and security-related functions Leading counter surveillance operations Performing protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments Transporting the client and/or family members Effectively managing requests against safety and security precautions Responding to emergencies and performing medical operations Deescalating tense situations Communicating vulnerabilities or safety concerns Completing reports and administrative requirements Ensuring vehicle safety and maintenance Assisting with protection schedules and team assignments Operating and maintaining equipment All other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of executive protection experience Current CA Guard Card, CA Exposed Firearm Permit, CA CCW or HR218, EP Certificate, and First Aid/CPR/AED certificates Defensive driving tactics training and/or experience preferred International experience preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills Sound independent judgment and problem resolution skills Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Professional appearance and demeanor Concierge-level customer service skills Able to maintain confidentiality Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office Working Conditions: Regular computer usage Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects Maintaining composure in urgent and pressure situations Exposure to stressful situations Rapid and effective decision-making Work in environments that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking 24/7 availability Domestic and/or international travel Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer and offers a range of benefits, including employer-paid life and AD&D, medical, dental, vision, and 401(K).
