EHS Manager

EHS Manager

We are seeking an experience, Industria/Manufacturing centric EHS Manager for our facility located centrally in the area between Nashville and Memphis, TN. This key Manager will oversee and manage the environmental, health, and safety programs within the organization to ensure compliance with regulations, promote workplace safety, and create a sustainable work environment. This role will involve coordinating safety training, developing health and safety policies, and leading initiatives to mitigate risks in the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures according to OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead and facilitate safety training programs for employees, including OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• Monitor environmental compliance and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
• Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate with team leaders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
• Manage and supervise the EHS team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to EHS and advise management on necessary changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in environmental compliance and safety training.
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
• Certification as an EHS Manager or similar qualification is preferred.
• Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and industrial safety practices.
