Compensation: $17.10 per hour

Dean's Professional Services is currently hiring skilled and dependable Cooks to support meal preparation in a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will bring culinary experience and demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to safety and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in providing nutritious meals to patients, employees, and visitors.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and portion requirements.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment.

• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and management to meet mealtime schedules.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering/restocking as needed.

• Comply with hospital and departmental food preparation standards.

• Maintain a sanitary, organized, and hazard-free work area.

• Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with various cooking methods, food handling, and safety protocols.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification.

• Basic math and measuring skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.

• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and remain on feet for extended periods.

• Proof of immunizations and TB test required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
