Vaco Phoenix is working with an amazing company who is looking to add a Construction Payroll Specialist to their growing team. This position requires certified payroll experience and the preparation, processing, and maintenance of basic payroll responsibilities as well as job costing experience. This is a contract to hire position that is hybrid (one day remote), paying up ton $35 per hour, and interviewing this week. If you are looking for your next exciting opportunity, apply today!Job Description:Run payroll for all employees (verify commissions, bi-weekly pay/hours, deductions, taxes, etc.)Code employees correctly Remit tax payments to appropriate entitiesFile tax forms pertaining to payrollCreate spreadsheet for review by Controller/CFO for approval of bi-weekly payrollPrint checks and deliver to employeesGet appropriate approvals for pay increases, bonus payout, commissions, etc.Required:3+ years of experience in construction payrollProven expertise in certified payroll reporting (Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage compliance, etc.) Familiar with multi-state payroll and job costing Experience with federal, state, and local wage lawsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
